Who writes Knowledge Park Guide
Hi, I’m Uttkarsh Thakur, a 4th-year B.Tech CSE student at Bennett University. I live in the on-campus hostel, and I started Knowledge Park Guide to put the practical stuff students here keep asking about in one place: how to get here, where to stay, what to eat and what to do.
The site is for students at Sharda, GL Bajaj and GCET in Knowledge Park, at nearby Bennett and Galgotias, and for parents coming to visit them.
Why this site exists
Search for how to reach a college here, or where to stay, and a lot of what comes up is outdated or contradicts itself. Some pages still call the Aqua Line “proposed”, even though the metro between Noida and Greater Noida opened in January 2019. Route pages disagree with each other on last-metro times and distances, and PG searches mostly return listing sites and PG operators’ own promotions.
This site covers Greater Noida around Knowledge Park. It does not cover Greater Noida West (Noida Extension), which is a different area that often gets mixed up with it in searches.
How information is gathered and checked
- On-the-ground checks. Wherever I can, I visit places and travel the routes myself before writing about them.
- “Last checked” dates. Every fare, timing and price table shows when it was last checked. Numbers here change often, so look at the date before you rely on one.
- PG information. I live in the hostel, not a PG. PG details come from visits and from conversations with students who live in PGs, and the pages say so.
- Photos. Photos are taken by me unless a caption says otherwise.
- Sources. When something can’t be checked in person, the page says so and links to where it came from.
Independence and disclosure
Knowledge Park Guide is independent. I study at Bennett, but the site is not run by or affiliated with Bennett University or any other college, PG, hostel, restaurant or brand. There are no paid listings, and nobody pays to be mentioned or recommended. If that ever changes, for example through ads or affiliate links, it will be clearly disclosed on the pages it affects.
Corrections
Fares change, timings shift and places close. If you spot something wrong or out of date, I want to know. A contact form for reporting errors is being set up and will be linked here once it is live. When I fix an error, the page notes what changed and the date of the correction.
